In Section 3 (Concrete for Post Footing), use the Post Depth Rule slider to adjust in-ground depth from 15% to 55%. You can also select presets like 1/3 Rule (33.3%), 1/4 Rule (25%), or 40% Rule in Settings.
Yes! Navigate to the Settings & Branding tab, tap "Select Logo" to upload your company image, enter your address, phone number, email, website, and custom terms & conditions. These will automatically appear on all generated PDF estimates.
You can toggle the main Imperial (ft/in) / Metric (m/cm) selector at the top of the calculator. You can also customize individual field units (feet, meters, yards, inches, cm, mm) using the unit dropdown beside each input field or in Settings.
In the Cost Breakdown section, tap "+ Add Custom Expense Line Item" to add extra fees for Labor & Installation, Old Fence Removal, Permit Fees, Gate Hardware, or Delivery. These line items are added to your subtotal and included in your PDF estimates.

All saved calculations, project names, contractor branding information, uploaded company logos, material prices, and customized settings are stored strictly in your device's local private storage (UserDefaults and local app sandbox). This data never leaves your device unless you manually choose to share a PDF estimate report.
If you choose to upload a contractor logo for PDF estimate branding, the app requests access to your photo library using the native iOS PhotosPicker. Your selected image remains on your device and is only used to generate vector PDF reports locally.
When you tap "Generate PDF Report", the app compiles your vector document locally using iOS system PDFKit frameworks. Sharing a PDF report triggers the standard native iOS Share Sheet (AirDrop, Mail, Messages, Files), giving you 100% explicit control over where your estimate document is sent.
